Milestones - For Kid's Success, P.C. is devoted to assisting families of children with unique needs and challenges to attain their fullest potential in life. It is our goal to help children gain the skill and confidence needed to be successful in their home, educational, and community environments, and to foster positive and fulfilling peer and family relationships. We believe that recognizing and responding to the unique needs and value system of every family that we service is critical to our success, and understand that empowering families to continue to secure positive outcomes for their child is an essential component of therapeutic intervention.
Philosophy
The staff at Milestones - For Kids’ Success strives to help children gain the skill and confidence they need to be successful in their home, school, and community environments. By working closely together as an integrated team and by staying current in pediatric intervention methods, the Milestones clinical staff are able to focus on meeting the unique needs of each child and family served.
Milestones professionals believe two components most vital to helping children achieve their full potential are creating intrinsically motivating experiences - activities that engage the child while accomplishing the goal - and teaming with parents to provide ongoing education and support for home programming efforts. We work very closely with parents and other family members to assist with integrating therapeutic programming into daily routines.
