Physical Therapy for Kids

Downers Grove, IL

Physical therapy for children is one of our core services at Milestones. We know just how critical it is in helping children who struggle with independent mobility and gross motor functioning. Various handling techniques and sensory stimulation plus play and parent-child interaction will help your child gain range of motion, muscle strength, posture, joint mobility, gait, and higher level gross motor development.

Our Approach

In our therapy center, your child will be exposed to a variety of gross motor and sensory experiences customized to meet their individual needs. Our physical therapists have specialized training in Neuro-Developmental Treatment (NDT), Myofascial Release, neuromuscular electrical stimulation (NMES), Theratogs™, Kinesio Taping®, and joint mobilization, and stay current with the latest therapies.
