Gretchen Manske

In this Milestones For Kids’ Success Staff Spotlight, we introduce you to Gretchen Manske, who is our administrative director and has been with Milestones since 2003. No one has been here longer except Janet Puderbaugh, our owner and clinical director. Gretchen works closely with Janet to ensure that all systems run smoothly to serve our families.

Q: What three words do you use to describe Milestones For Kids’ Success?
A: Passion, relationship, and partnership/collaboration.

Q: What is the best vacation you’ve been on?
A: I’ve had many but my most recent was a trip to northern Germany with my dad and two of my brothers. My dad and mom have done a lot of genealogical research and this was a chance to visit the area of the country that my dad’s family originated from and put a place to some of the stories. It was amazing.

Q: If you were an animal what would you be?
A: I think I would be a squirrel 😊. Squirrel symbolism says that the squirrel represents practical matters and resourcefulness, working hard to meet needs now and preparing for the future. BUT the squirrel also represents a playful and adventurous spirit. That sounds like me.

Q: What do you like most about your job here at Milestones?
A: The passion of every team member in every position to make a difference in the lives of the families that come through our doors. Everyone cares so much about the work we do and wants to do the best they can do at their particular job and help each other to be the best that they can be at their job.

Q: What do you like to do in your spare time?
A: Any opportunity to rest and relax in a calming environment I will jump all over. Curling up on a couch with a book, a movie or to binge-watch a TV series are favorites. I also LOVE going out to movies.
